Flyhjælp is looking for Swedish-speaking case workers to work with litigation and enforcement (retssager). We are looking for a full-time colleague to start January 1st. Flyhjælp is a highly specialized debt-collection agency that helps air passengers collect their claims for compensation and refunds from the airlines according to EU Regulation 261/2004.

We specialize in the Nordic jurisdictions under our brands and have our own litigation department that handles cases in the Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, and Finnish courts. We take cases all the way to the Supreme Court or the European Court of Justice if necessary.

We have an ambition to be the best and biggest in the Nordics on air passenger rights.

Flyhjælp is not a law firm; we are a legal tech and legal dev looking for qualified and enthusiastic colleagues to join our litigation department, who:

• want to work with lawsuits and the courts.
• have an interest or maybe a background in law – maybe you are a law student.
• have strong analytical and written skills, and emotional intelligence.
• speak and write at least one of the Nordic languages at a native or professional level – we are currently looking for Swedish-speaking colleagues.
• speak and write English.
• are not afraid to explore new technologies.

• have a can-do attitude, which is motivating for colleagues and air passengers.
• and don’t mind that we may be a little wacky at times.

In the litigation department, you will gain insight into legal methods and civil procedure, learn about evidence theory, and write short and precise texts. You will become an expert on air passenger rights according to EU Regulation 261/2004, and you can have oral court hearings in person, via phone, or via video.

Our core tasks include:

• Preparation of pleadings in court cases.
• Settlement negotiations with the airlines.
• Contact with air passengers about their experiences.
• Contact with the courts regarding our cases.
• Assessing whether verdicts should be appealed and making appeals.
• Contact with external partners, including external law firms.

In the litigation department, you will also work on optimizing our work processes by investigating and implementing new technologies that can help us.

Furthermore, the litigation department handles the enforcement of our verdicts via the enforcement courts.

The litigation department currently consists of 16 colleagues, who work full-time or part-time and come from legal and non-legal backgrounds.

We are based in Copenhagen, but we are a Nordic and international workplace with colleagues from all over who speak English, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Polish, Russian, Serbian, German, and many more languages. Our company language is English, and through our parent company, Flightright, we have colleagues located in Berlin, Budapest, and Kyiv as well. If you are taking a long weekend in Berlin, feel free to work from the office in Berlin.
