The Position

We are looking for Junior Process Engineers & Scientists who have an interest in understanding pharmaceutical processes, developing monitoring tools, and analyzing data for recommendations for improvements and development. Furthermore, you have an interest in business impact and understanding how interconnected decisions play a crucial role when manufacturing pharmaceuticals.

As a Process Engineer or Scientist, you will get a chance to:

  1. Analyze large amounts of data for extracting correlation and causation for process understanding.
  2. Examine and understand data from quality control (QC) analyses.
  3. Develop, maintain, and recommend statistical process control charts for process monitoring.
  4. Use a science, data-based approach for quantifying process deviations.
  5. Utilize a team-based approach for recommending process improvements and optimizations.
  6. Build on your skills and experience together with highly dedicated colleagues.
  7. Work in a proactive, solution-oriented environment where everyone likes to share knowledge and collaborate effectively.
  8. Handle deviations when processes do not operate as intended.
  9. Write and execute change requests to implement improvements including validation when required.
  10. Take part in cross-functional meetings to align and further develop processes across the production site.

Qualifications

Junior Process Engineers or Scientists candidates should have the following qualifications:

  1. A bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, natural science, mechanical engineering, production engineering, or a related field.
  2. Be interested in pharmaceuticals, with GMP knowledge being an advantage.
  3. Have the ability to independently understand scientific principles required for manufacturing pharmaceutical substances related to the interaction of chemistry and equipment, alongside having an ability to monitor data and extract information.
  4. Be curious about connecting the understanding of process science to product quality.
  5. Have an appetite for solving complex problems applying a systems approach to manage complexity and reach feasible applicable solutions.
  6. Be professionally proficient in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Danish or other languages is considered a plus.
