Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) - a service provider working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Vice President to join our office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The Role

As head of the CISC Group Controlling and Financial Reporting team, you will be pivotal in steering our financial strategy. You will shape and nurture a team responsible for accounting, financial controlling, reporting, compliance, and payroll across the CISC Group. Your leadership will ensure robust financial reporting, process enhancements, and regulatory adherence while implementing efficient internal controls.

In this high-impact role, you'll oversee a team of 8 talented financial professionals (4 direct reports and 4 indirect) and drive our financial strategy to align with CISC’s ambitious long-term goals. You will engage with senior stakeholders to provide crucial financial insights, champion best practices, and craft strategic recommendations to fuel the company's growth trajectory.

Responsibilities will further consist of

  • Manage Billing & Collections: Streamline group billing, accounts receivable, and collections to optimize revenue management.
  • Oversee Reporting & Consolidation: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and consolidation processes.
  • Internal Management Accounting: Supervise internal accounting to maintain data integrity and robust transaction accuracy.
  • Collaborate on Financial Planning: Partner with commercial planning and reporting teams to seamlessly integrate budgeting, pricing, and development models.
  • Lead and Develop Team: Inspire, mentor, and grow a high-performing team in accounting, controlling, and compliance.

You

Ideally, you bring at least 10 years of comprehensive experience in audit, accounting, and controlling within complex global organizations. Your background should include advanced project management skills and a demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams. A relevant master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a similar field is required.
