About Pandora’s Commercial Insights Team

At Pandora, the Commercial Insights Team is more than just an analytical unit; it’s the driving force behind our strategic initiatives. As a key part of Global Merchandising, we lead major projects and Revenue Growth Management efforts that are crucial to the future of our global brand.

About the role

As a Commercial Insights Analyst, you will embark on a journey where data meets strategy, creativity meets analytics, and insights lead to impactful decisions. Your role will be critical in driving Pandora’s Revenue Growth Management initiatives, transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive our promotional strategies and price optimization.

Some of your key accountabilities will be to:

  1. Strategize and Influence: Support and shape Pandora’s Revenue growth management initiative through rigorous analytics and provide recommendations on tactical and strategic actions to Pandora’s senior leadership teams.
  2. Hypothesize and Test: Leverage large, dispersed data sets to formulate and validate commercial hypotheses in close collaboration with our commercial teams.
  3. Innovate and Develop: Provide in-depth analyses and develop tools to empower colleagues across the globe to drive actionable commercial insights.
  4. Communicate and Present: Share your findings across the organization in a way that is both clear and compelling, ensuring your insights resonate across teams.
  5. Collaborate and Build: Work hand-in-hand with BI, IT, and Advanced Analytics teams to enhance our analytics infrastructure, ensuring seamless and scalable insights generation.
  6. Lead and Deliver: Drive projects from inception to completion, demonstrating ownership, initiative, and capacity to manage cross-functional projects.

Relentlessly commercial, fact-based and analytical
To succeed in this role, you need to understand and have a strong interest in data and data modeling as well as the desire to drive and own complex projects. Your mindset is analytical, and your workstyle is fact-based and collaborative.

Adding to the above, we hope to see that you have:

  1. University degree.
  2. Minimum 2-5 years of professional experience - preferably from Consulting/Retail/FMCG.
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong business acumen.
  4. Passionate and curious colleague with a can-do attitude.
  5. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package, including being a super user of Excel.
  6. A highly creative and innovative mind.
  7. Exceptional written, visual and verbal communication & presentation skills.
  8. Ability to work with complex data from multiple data sources.
  9. Team player with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  10. Not essential but will be considered an advantage: Experience with Alteryx or similar ETL/analysis tools and BI tools (such as Power BI).

Your new team

You will be part of the Commercial Insights and Pricing team reporting to the Commercial Insights Manager. The team consists of nine can-do spirited, passionate people who seek to develop every day, move Pandora forward, and have fun while doing so.
