Junior Research Analysts (Student Workers) (Temporary)

Brinckmann is seeking Junior Research Analysts (Student Workers) to join a young and fast-growing organization that accelerates decarbonization with a strong focus on renewable energy, including wind power, solar PV, and power-to-X. Brinckmann provides clients worldwide with independent and professional advice within the green energy transition from our offices in Denmark and Germany. Our role is to support our clients and stakeholders in finding solutions to their most pressing challenges and help them grow their renewable energy business profitably. Our services cover market analysis, strategic planning, transactional support, and data services – serving customers spanning the entire value chain from manufacturers to project developers and financial investors. 

In all our work, we rely on the integrity, insight, experience, and skills of our team. We are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated Student Worker for our office in Aarhus, Denmark.

Primary tasks

The Junior Research Analyst is responsible for conducting research tasks and working under the supervision of a Partner or Practice Lead to support the development of Brinckmann’s data services. 

Key responsibilities of the Junior Research Analyst include conducting secondary research to gather data, updating Excel-based databases, assisting in preparing research insights, and implementing methods to ensure efficient and comprehensive data extraction.

Required competencies, characterizing the strong candidate,

  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Finance
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) to accomplish daily business activities and facilitate communications.
  • Must live within a commutable distance of the work location
  • Ability to effectively communicate and problem-solve
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Preferred and demonstrated ability to drive process improvement
  • Ability to identify key issues, analyze data, and make recommendations to address problems.
  • Experience in the renewable energy industry is an advantage
  • Most importantly, you must have outstanding integrity and always have the client's and company’s best interests in mind.
