Seeking a Finance & Operations Associate to join our small and dynamic team in Nordhavn where you will play a key role in supporting our investment activities . Initially, you will be responsible for data, financial reporting, execution of investments, and supporting legal and compliance matters. Over time you will have the opportunity to grow into a more senior strategic role which will include managing key service providers, leading operational processes, as well as developing dynamic and sophisticated financial forecasts and analyses.

This represents a rare opportunity for the right candidate to break into the private investment industry and join an ambitious and purposeful team. You will have a seat at the decision-making table from day one, as well as an attractive personal growth journey ahead. You will be taking over the responsibilities from an existing team member who is moving to another role within our ecosystem, so there will be lots of support and guidance to begin with, but also the opportunity to own and develop the role over time.

Experience the role will provide

  • Investment management support across multiple asset classes

  • Investment execution and operations in a private investment company

  • Dynamic internal financial reporting/analysis to support investment decisions

  • Statutory external financial reporting experience

  • Legal & compliance experience

The ideal candidate will possess some of all of the following

  • A relevant degree in finance and/or accounting (e.g. cand.merc/cand.oecon./cand.polit.)

  • At least 2-3 years of work experience in a relevant field

  • Direct experience with financial accounting and/or financial statement analysis

  • Love for data, numbers, and a great attention to detail

  • Proactive approach to solving problems and improving systems and processes

  • Passion for making a positive impact on the world via capital investments

  • Desire to build a career within operations of investment management

Compensation consists of market standard base salary + participation in attractive long-term incentive program.
