About this opportunity

To strengthen our team we are looking for an experienced Lead Data/IT Analyst who has skills to do hands-on data and requirement analysis work. The right candidate also understands other aspects of software development: Are we making solid architectural decisions? Are we able to improve our tech stack? Are we focusing on the right things?

As the Lead Data/IT Analyst, you’ll engage with many different stakeholders, so the person we are looking for is an outgoing individual who is self-motivated and contributes to a good team spirit. You are an experienced and passionate analyst, always seeking the best solution.

Your main responsibilities will be around the consolidation and harmonization, sourcing, storage, and distribution of Payments Data to other solutions. It also includes integrations supporting different End2End payment flows in Nordea’s target payment architecture.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Contributing to solution architecture, design, and maintainability of applications
  2. Designing, building, and maintaining near real-time data pipelines
  3. Interacting with product owners and stakeholders to clarify, elicit, and translate requirements into implementation specifications
  4. Data mapping, data modeling, solution design, and working with Information architects
  5. Performing quantitative data analysis with the aim to understand identified issues, and to explain implications and recommend solutions
  6. Collaborating with developers and engineers and properly document your design and solutions
  7. Eliciting requirements (functional and non-functional) by co-operating with different stakeholders in a complex environment
  8. Be responsible for requirements documentation (inc. use cases) and quality improvement
  9. Accessing complex and distributed datasets and perform statistical analysis

Your experience and background:

  1. Expert in data modeling principles, data architectures, and integration patterns
  2. Expert in requirement elicitation/analysis
  3. Expert in SQL (Oracle, MSSQL, or similar RDBMS)
  4. Experience in one or more cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google)
  5. Knowledge of the banking sector and payment domain (ISO20022 standard, SEPA, and Swift messages)
  6. Hands-on knowledge of practices like Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing architecture patterns, microservices architecture, and clean code
  7. Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, REST, Maven, and JUnit and also to have experience building distributed, highly available, and high throughput applications
  8. Degree in computer science and engineering, mathematical modeling, or similar
  9. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, and familiar with international collaboration with different stakeholder groups

The role is based in Copenhagen / Taastrup.
