We’re expanding our manufacturing support team for post treatment processes, and we are looking for a Team Lead to join our team in Aalborg, Denmark. You will be part of a local team of process engineers working on developing and optimizing post and surface treatment processes. We are seeking a person with great people skills and a project management proven mindset.
How to contribute to our vision:
As our Team Lead you will:
- Lead and develop a team of 5-10 process specialists.
- Focus your efforts to ensure your team delivers effective production support (processes, documentation, tools and equipment).
- Ensure achievement of agreed performance standards of Industrial Engineering.
- Ensure competences within the team through competence management, sufficient onboarding, and tracking of development.
- Be the first point of contact for any issues, personal as well as professional, and provide the psychological safety mindset needed for the team to feel supported.
- Drive Siemens Gamesa safety culture based on knowledge and requirements of legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
- Improve and optimize processes and routines for the team to meet its full potential through the implementation of new initiatives.
- Support the budget calculations and headcount reviews.
- Ensure that all administrative tasks are carried out correctly (SAP bookings, hourly bookings, invoicing, etc.).
- Liaise with other engineering functions or external vendors or service providers.
What you need to make a difference:
Ideally, you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering and a few years of leadership experience in the wind industry.
In addition, you should have:
- Great people skills and the ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.
- An analytical and proactive mindset.
- Excellent English and Danish language skills (both written and spoken).
- Technical flair and Quality mindset (product and processes).
- The ability to guide your team and internal customers in structured problem solving.
As a person, we are looking for a motivating team player, who is outgoing, ambitious, and result driven. You must possess strong organizational and coordination skills and thrive in a dynamic operational environment, where delivering results fast while maintaining high safety and quality standards is expected.
It is an advantage if you have a few years of experience in managing a small team of specialists.
You will become a member of a management group of 7 leaders covering areas within Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Training and Competence Management and reporting to Aalborg Head of Manufacturing Support. Simultaneously you will have a reporting line to one of the production managers, who will be your primary internal stakeholder.
We will prioritize candidates located in the Aalborg area in Denmark. We will not expect candidates from outside of Denmark, except for internal candidates in Europe.
