We are looking for a (Junior) Equipment Return Flow Manager to join our global Offshore Execution Equipment Management (EQM) team , to proactively manage our equipment return flow from our global offshore execution projects and service.

The OF EXE EQM team is responsible for on-time, on-quality, and on-budget delivery of tools, transport, and installation equipment to our global offshore execution project portfolio, internal blade and nacelle factories, and our tower vendors.

How to contribute to our vision

As a (Junior) Equipment Return Flow Manager , you will have a strategic importance to our Global Offshore Equipment Management department. You will have full end-to-end responsibility for managing return flow of all our equipment which is vital to successful manufacturing and installation of Offshore wind turbines. You will be involved in our offshore execution projects from the very early stage of planning until project closure.

In Offshore Execution, the Equipment Return Flow is core to successful delivery of equipment to subsequent projects. You will, on a daily basis, communicate with core stakeholders across our execution projects, including interfaces to procurement, logistics, warehouses, and other parties throughout the value chain. Together with our Equipment Portfolio Managers and Demand Managers you will assure smooth equipment delivery across our global network.

More specifically your key tasks will include – but are not limited – to:

  • Actively manage the on-time return of equipment from our execution projects and service organization in line with agreed due dates.
  • Agree on return logistic plans with Offshore execution projects at an early stage of planning and subsequently actively monitor project progress and equipment returns. Thereby, ensure delivery performance throughout the value chain.
  • Ensure that the return flow is synchronized with each construction project and is processed in the leanest way, benefiting project baseline.
  • Maintain and optimize all processes related to the reverse logistic setup to ensure right balance between demand and supply of equipment.
  • Act as the focal point for risk management and reporting to Offshore management on any deviations from the agreed return baseline.
  • Engage with the equipment engineering team to ensure that all equipment is designed to support smooth and cost optimal return and reuse of equipment.
  • Manage our ERP (SAP) system in cooperation with colleagues from different departments.
  • Ensure that all functions are performed within regulatory guidelines and company procedures.
  • Continuously improve our administrative processes in relation to financial aspects and internal stakeholder satisfaction.

What you need to make a difference

  • We need motivated team players, self-driven, structured with excellent communication skills and a very strong sense of ownership.
  • You interact with stakeholders across all levels in the organization.
  • You are motivated by providing top quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment.
  • Preferably, we would like you to have a bachelor’s or master’s degree within Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any similar, relevant field of study.
  • You should be curious, having a continuous learning mindset and strive to contribute to the organizations’ development.
  • You know how to plan and prioritize the given tasks within the project.
  • Furthermore, it is essential that you have an analytical mind and can leverage your extensive knowledge of O365 (especially Excel) and ERP. Our ERP is SAP S/4HANA; hence knowledge and experience in it is preferable.
  • You must thrive in a multi-cultural environment and be familiar with working in large organizations.
  • It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • You can frequently travel to project sites, factories, and our equipment centers (mainly warehouse in Esbjerg, Denmark).

In return of your commitment, we offer you...

Become a part of our mission for sustainability: clean energy for generations to come. We are a global team of diverse colleagues who share a passion for renewable energy and have a culture of trust and empowerment to make our own ideas a reality. We focus on personal and professional development to grow internally within our organization.
