The position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives, and driving operational excellence.

As a Project Portfolio Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the project portfolio lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Prepare and present portfolio performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics, risks, and opportunities.
  • Mentor and support other project managers in best practices for project execution and use of PM toolbox.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to prioritize initiatives based on strategic alignment and resource availability.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business goals.

Your role will be to own and drive the Local Manufacturing Project Portfolio group. This includes coordination, material preparation, and guidance for the LM site PM in preparing materials for the LM PPG meetings.

Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

As a person, you should have strong communication skills and the ability to navigate and adapt to different cultural environments, with experience in stakeholder management and can provide clear and direct guidance.

  • BSc or MSc in Engineering, IT, or Business Administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in project portfolio management of complex cross-functional project portfolios.
  • 3+ years of experience with senior management support and driving projects in a global stakeholder landscape.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

About the Department

Local Manufacturing - Projects and Site Support is part of LM Business Support, Denmark, and our primary role is the establishment and operation of local manufacturing sites in countries where local presence is required to obtain market access.

We oversee our local production sites in Algeria, Russia, Iran, and Japan and provide quality and project support to our local factories on a daily basis.

The Project and Site Support team consists of 5 specialists, professionals, and project managers, providing support and guidance within Quality, Audit and Inspections, Production Processes (FPM), and project execution.

We have high ambitions and aim, as a team, to raise the quality and performance level at our Local Sites.

We are 22 employees in the entire department in Denmark, and we are currently located in Bagsværd.
