Redstone Commodity Search are working with a market leading Danish Commodities Trading House, in their search for a Senior Gas Trader to join the growing Energy team.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Focus on proprietary gas trading across the long term curve.
- Execution of trades with proven strategies and risk tolerances.
- Manage, monitor, and comply with risk exposure.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting within the Energy Market.
- Refine, and develop trading strategies.
- Analysis of trading performance and trading metrics to ensure informed decisions are made.
- Role reports into the Director of Gas Trading.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- Having a broad understanding of international Gas fundamentals.
- Analytical mindset and strong ability to navigate the markets, a macro trading background is required.
- 5+ years of relevant proprietary gas trading experience.
- Master’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, or a relevant field.
- Strong attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
- Located in Denmark.
