As we continue our journey to becoming the best everyday bank in the Nordics, we are looking for a Head of ESG & CSRD to lead and elevate our sustainability efforts. Your role will ensure we meet regulatory requirements and integrate ESG into our identity and brand. As our new Head of ESG & CSRD, you will be part of our dynamic Banking team, reporting to Vibeke Bak Solok, Chief Banking Officer, and will be located in our beautiful Copenhagen office.

What will you do?

• Own and implement the ESG strategy, collaborating with management to make ESG a core part of Lunar's identity and brand.
• Lead the cross-organizational ESG ambassador corps and build and strengthen internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure compliance with sustainability reporting requirements, including the EU's taxonomy and CSRD. Implement CSRD, ESRS, GRI, and UNGC standards, and prepare for an initial public offering (IPO) by setting up routines and procedures.
• Establish internal procedures and systems for measuring ESG performance, prepare the annual sustainability report, and develop content for various communication platforms about sustainability efforts.

• 4-7 years of experience in sustainability or ESG roles with proven business results.
• Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD) and regulations (EU Green Deal, SFDR).
• Preferable experience in the financial services industry.
• Strong written communication skills with solid business acumen.
• Proficiency in sustainability reporting and tracking KPIs.
• Strong stakeholder management skills for both internal and external collaboration.
• Experience conducting materiality and double materiality assessments.
• Familiarity with sustainability certifications (e.g., UN Global Compact, LEED, B Corp).
• Ability to assess ESG risks and integrate them into corporate strategy.
• Leadership skills to manage ESG initiatives and cross-functional teams.
