Vestas Technology & Operations > Manufacturing > Manufacturing Nacelles PM Manufacturing Project Management Nacelle delivers projects Vestas' global nacelle manufacturing footprint by efficiently planning and executing the Manufacturing project portfolio in a safe, high-quality, timely and cost-effective way. We are a team of almost 15 project managers headed from Denmark but located in multiple geographical locations and with different cultural backgrounds. We are hiring a Senior Project Manager to drive one of our key New Product Introductions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects with high complexity, including full ownership for multiple workstreams
  • Delivery of agreed project results within the tolerances for scope, quality, time, cost, risks and benefits
  • Lead, plan, execute and control the project according to Vestas Governance and report to relevant stakeholders
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders and escalate when necessary
  • Full responsibility for complex and strategic projects, from project initiation through project closure and confirmed handover to business
  • Developing and leading robust project organizations, managing all aspects of the project across the value chain with project management best practices and in compliance with Vestas project processes
  • Ensure thorough estimation and planning of resources across the organization with regard to project deliverables and plans

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, management discipline and/or engineering
  • IPMA C, PRINCE2, PMP and/or similar project management certificate
  • 7+ years project management experience
  • Previously responsible for 10mEUR+ capital expenditures projects
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Know-how from the wind industry will be an advantage, but it is not a must
  • Key areas of expertise in your toolbelt could include: Value chain understanding, Market and customer understanding, Business case understanding, Steering Committee facilitation and governance, Project budgeting, controlling and accounting, Risk management, Project planning, monitoring and control, Communication and presentation skills
  • You take accountability for your team's performance, responsibility for your decisions and speak up when facing challenges and issues
  • You're able to build trust and fully empower your project team to ensure full engagement and utilization of talent and competencies, allowing you to keep the overview
  • You communicate upwards, outwards and downwards in an open, direct and honest way to ensure full transparency and alignment
  • You approach your projects with curiosity and execute diligently, persistently and passionately with focus on cooperation, stakeholder management and "what is best for Vestas"
  • You consider yourself a situational leader who can lead over distance and across cultures
