As Production Engineering Manager you are a part of the Sound and Vibration Product Engineering organization as well as our management team. Product Engineering is responsible for:

  • Products during and after release,
  • Designing, building and maintaining production lines and equipment
  • Creating Innovative Automation.

The department focuses on driving reliability and sustainable practices within the production environment, aligning its efforts with the cross-functional teams in Operations in a global organization.

Our facility in Virum covers R&D and Manufacturing in-house (end-to-end). We develop and manufacture advanced technology in sound and vibration measurement. With a legacy spanning over 75 years, we have been at the forefront of this industry, providing solutions that have shaped the way sound and vibration are analyzed and managed. From creating the world's first charge accelerometer to developing cutting-edge analyzer systems for modern satellite systems. Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 9 production engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and safety in the production area.
  • Coach and mentor your team to ensure that HBK is a Great Place to Work.

Who are you:

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production engineering within electrical, Test, Process or mechanical fields.
  • Experience as manager with strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with Process automation will be an advantage.
  • You take responsibility and are comfortable prioritizing.
  • You have basic skills to run a project or Task force.
  • You are a team player with high integrity who gains trust with people across the organization.
