Investor Relations Manager

Founded in the Nordics, Axcel is a leading private equity firm investing across Northern Europe, with a focus on four sectors: Technology, Business Services & Industrials, Healthcare, and Consumer. Our team of approximately 50 professionals across Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Frankfurt draws on 30 years of experience in building market leaders through a collaborative mindset and a structured approach to value creation.

Axcel has raised seven funds, with committed capital exceeding EUR 4.1 billion from Nordic and international investors. We currently own 19 companies and have made a total of 72 platform investments, more than 375 add-on acquisitions, and 53 exits.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Investor Relations Manager to join our team and strengthen our relationships with investors. The position reports to the Head of Investor Relations, Jesper Breitenstein.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute investor relations strategies to enhance communication and engagement with current and prospective investors
  2. Prepare and manage investor communications, including presentations, newsletters, and other material.
  3. Coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, and events to ensure strong investor engagement
  4. Respond to investor inquiries and provide relevant financial and operational updates
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including Investment, Finance and Communication, to ensure accurate and transparent reporting
  6. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide strategic insights
  7. Maintain investor databases and CRM systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
  2. Minimum of three years of experience in investor relations, private equity, asset management, or related financial services
  3. Strong financial acumen and a solid understanding of private equity investment structures.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Danish and English, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly
  5. Experience in preparing investor presentations and financial reports
  6. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with investors and stakeholders
