We are looking for a motivated and talented risk associate to join our team at the Group’s Headquarters in Copenhagen. The Risk Governance, Framework and Reporting team within Group Non-Financial Risk is responsible for reporting on the Group’s risk profile as well as maintaining the overall framework, data and infrastructure for non-financial risks. Furthermore, we support the work of various risk committees within Saxo.

As a risk associate, you will be working in close collaboration with the whole Risk Management function. You will contribute to a number of important processes, including data aggregation, analysis and governance as well as regular management reporting. You will further receive the opportunity to drive the development and ensure the ongoing maintenance of reporting dashboards, conduct ad-hoc analysis, and present key findings.

Responsibilities

  1. Coordinating governance committee and board member meetings, monitoring certain business processes, establishing and maintaining a record of operational procedures manuals, and analysing monthly reports. Another key component typically includes facilitating the flow of information.
  2. Coordinating data aggregation and analysis as well as regular reporting across Group Risk & Capital Management, ad-hoc analysis and presentation of key findings.
  3. Maturing and further developing the Group’s risk reporting framework and processes.
  4. Preparing reporting for relevant governance bodies and committees, including the Operational Risk Committee, Management Risk & Compliance Committee, and Board Risk Committee.
  5. Supporting the design, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the measurement framework for Non-Financial Risks, including key risk indicators.

Your profile

You have a graduate degree, based in Copenhagen and have experience within a governance role. You thrive on delving into intricate details of strategy and have the ability to summarise into easily readable executive commentary.

You have a basic understanding of financial markets and a technical skillset that includes the usage of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

You are motivated, curious in nature and eager to acquire knowledge in new areas. You have a structured and methodical approach to tasks and take a high degree of ownership, while also being able to work in a team setting. You thrive on finding intelligent and automated solutions and appreciate removing obstacles and impediments.

You enjoy working in an international, cross-cultural environment and interact with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. You have good communication skills and are fluent in English.
