As our new Mechanical Engineer, you will join our Product Development department in Struer, becoming an integral part of our global Mechanical Engineering team. You will work on exciting projects, bringing your expertise to the forefront.

Key responsibilities
Working alongside concept creators, designers, hardware, acoustics, and other specialists, you will bring new and exciting products to life. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Drive mechanical engineering creation process throughout the complete NPI phase, in close collaboration with internal & external development partners.
  2. Create mechanical constructions and provide proof of concept through rapid prototyping.
  3. Master concept and architecture engineering, providing mechanical engineering expertise and know-how.
  4. Make assessments and recommendations for material and process choices based on mechanical acoustics design principles, supporting design for perfection, manufacturing, longevity, and magical elements.

What you bring
You have a deep understanding of mechanical architecture, design, manufacturing processes, and material characteristics. Your ability to collaborate with suppliers and transform proven architecture into product requirements is crucial. Additionally, you bring:

  1. A degree in mechanical engineering and years of experience with product development.
  2. An open mind, technical curiosity, and attention to detail.
  3. In-depth understanding of different tooling processes for materials such as aluminium, plastic, steel, glass, and wood.
  4. Expert user of 3D CAD modelling systems, such as Creo Parametric.
  5. Fluency in English is mandatory, and Danish is advantageous.
