AFI is the global leader in specialized dairy ingredients, delivering specialized products to our customers all over the world. Our continued growth creates new opportunities. We are now seeking a Senior Manager to set the direction as leader in the newly formed Regulatory Affairs team.
The Regulatory Affairs team consists of six skilled colleagues with broad responsibilities. The team is part of AFI's Global Regulatory Affairs department, consisting of thirteen colleagues. All working to safeguard our products and at the same time deliver speed-to-market and regulatory foresight to AFI. You will report to Director Global Regulatory Affairs, Tania Porsgaard Bayer, and will work closely with senior leaders across the business. The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark.

Your responsibilities will include:- Efficiently drive and manage key projects by identifying, scoping, assembling teams, and establishing clear deliverables and timelines.
- Lead the delivery of the project including managing time, scope and quality of project delivery.
- Ensuring stakeholder commitment at local and headquarters levels while effectively managing and continuously improving regulatory affairs interaction with production sites and the commercial organization.
- Manage interdependencies, resolve roadblocks and balance different business considerations.
- Ensure smooth and efficient project completion, including handover and adjustment of project organization if needed.
- Contribute to identifying AFI's next strategic moves within Global Regulatory Affairs while actively supporting the execution of the Regulatory Strategy.
We seek an individual with a Master's degree in a scientific field, preferably with several years of experience in leading regulatory tasks or teams within an international company. The role necessitates a multifaceted skill set encompassing analytical proficiency and regulatory expertise, vital for addressing complex challenges and articulating them comprehensibly. Proficiency in condensing extensive information into high-quality decision proposals, as well as fluency in English, is essential.
Your academic qualifications are a precursor to your aptitude for leading teams and engaging with diverse stakeholders. You possess the ability to develop robust relationships transcending cultural boundaries, leveraging a keen business acumen, adaptable communication skills, and an inclusive mindset, crucial for effective collaboration across all organizational tiers.
On a personal level, you embody an outgoing and independent demeanor, functioning as a catalyst for change with a proactive drive and a penchant for cultivating mutually beneficial outcomes.
