Who are you ideally?
  • You have a couple of years of experience in applying data science and analytics techniques to solve product or business problems.
  • You have proficient programming skills in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.).
  • You have experience working with SQL, cloud platforms, and big data frameworks (Spark, etc.).
  • With a blend of curiosity and creativity, you devise solutions that are applicable in real-life contexts.
  • Experience with Generative AI is a plus.

Primary responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions for Trackunit's platform and software products.
  • Apply machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analytics to solve real-world business challenges for our customers.
  • Work with large-scale datasets to generate insights and detect anomalies for fleet optimization.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and integrate data solutions into our applications.

  • Virtual meet and greet. Meet with Sr Director of AI Leonhard Fricke, the leader of this position.
  • Personality-based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment using Hogan prior to the interview. Our Hogan assessment enables us to understand your abilities and how you align with our team culture.
  • Assignment-specific interview. We want you to get an insight into some of the concrete responsibilities related to the role. You will be given a case to prepare prior to the interview, and at the interview, you will present the case to relevant colleagues from across Trackunit, who you'll also work closely with in the job.
  • If needed, throughout the process we will obtain references from former employers and do background checks for level specific, if you have not provided these yourself.
