About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transfer Pricing Manager to join our dynamic Global Tax team.

In this regional role, you'll focus on business partnering, transfer pricing advisory, and managing TP controversies. You will be uniquely positioned at the intersection of Maersk's commercial activities and the tax, transfer pricing, and finance functions that support our integrator strategy.

As part of the transfer pricing function, you'll work with a team of experienced and diverse professionals committed to managing Maersk's global transfer pricing outcomes.

The role can be based anywhere in Europe depending where we find the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and partner with the business on new products, services, customer solutions, and business changes, ensuring alignment with transfer pricing policies and regulations.
  • Manage transfer pricing audits in the region and oversee TP policies for key operating models, including acquired companies.
  • Lead the implementation of TP models for acquired companies in your region, collaborating with finance, TP Operations, and other teams to ensure successful rollouts and control implementation.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts across the TP function, enhancing models and outcomes.
  • Participate in projects involving transfer pricing issues, contributing to both business-driven and tax-driven initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years in transfer pricing, ideally with international exposure from industry and/or a Big 4 advisory environment.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across various functions, geographies, and cultures.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in transfer pricing, with the capability to leverage technology for innovative solutions.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-functional, and regional projects.
  • Adaptability: A proactive approach to challenges, with a focus on driving process changes and improvements in a dynamic regional context.
