About the role
We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join our team of Automation and IT project managers. As a team, we are working on the most recent technology and manage complex automation and IT projects.

Why do we need you? Our goal is to execute our current project portfolio whilst we upgrade our skills to prepare for our future projects. Your role will be key in managing some of our existing projects and in identifying ways we can improve our project execution.

How you might spend your days
As a Senior Project Manager for IT projects, you’ll be:

  • Engaged in the largest API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) project within Novo Nordisk’s portfolio where each day presents new challenges requiring speed and agility
  • Working with cutting-edge technology that integrates both IT and OT, combining physical infrastructure with SW platform
  • Coordinating between various stakeholders and disciplines including Novo Nordisk Global IT, NNE Electrical and Instrumentation division, external vendors like ABB
  • Managing project scope, planning and budgeting while proactively identifying and mitigating risks
  • Leading, motivating and developing your team, providing feedback to secure continuous improvement
  • Working in a team of 34 IT and automation project managers based in Virum and Kalundborg

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

  • You have a degree in engineering or similar technical background
  • You have 7-10 years’ experience as project manager for IT projects
  • You hold a project manager certification, IPMA, PMP, SAFe or similar
