Apply today and join us for a life-changing career
The Position
As the Project Manager for CAPEX project execution for the Aseptic Processing (AP) modules, you will serve in a critical role to establish and maintain the appropriate coordination between the AP Module team in Denmark and the receiving sites. The position will have a very high number of touchpoints to both internal and external stakeholders, and the tasks will range from executing already established processes to defining and troubleshooting those not yet fully established. You will be working in a matrix structure where you will have to balance standardized project execution with the individual needs and constraints of the receiving sites.
Your main tasks in this role include:
- Supporting the AP module leads in the execution of the module, equipment, process, and ramp-up design, specifically running the project controls process (Cost, schedule, risk, etc.) towards 2 receiving sites.
- Being the key point of contact between the AP module and the Future Standard Project Management Office where the project controls data collection and processing takes place.
- Driving the structures needed to support an efficient execution set-up for the module, e.g., Annual wheels, Townhall presentations, Board meetings, structures to support stakeholder management, etc.
- Driving prioritized problem-solving and improvements within the module, both as a facilitator for technical subjects and within the internal project processes and ways of working.
- Supporting the Module Lead with coordination and sharing of learnings across module delivery teams by setting up and/or participating in governance to ensure learnings are captured and shared.
- Information collection, aggregation, and presentation generation to support both weekly execution cycles and monthly steering group cadence.
Your workplace will be based in Lyngby, Denmark, but as there is collaboration required on a global scale, travel is expected to our other sites. It is estimated that this would be up to 10% of the time annually.
Qualifications
Ideally, you have the following qualifications:
- An Academic Degree.
- Project management experience complemented by understanding the customer’s requirements & processes that generate products/services that meet the customer’s requirements. Experience of working in a pharmaceutical or other regulated industry would be an advantage.
- Process improvement & problem-solving skills – LEAN.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to plan, coordinate & prioritize activities.
As a person, you are an effective communicator who works seamlessly across multiple cultures. You can form strong stakeholder relationships across multiple organizational levels, from Technical Supporters and Engineers to Vice Presidents. You understand the value in systems and standards and have an eye for which processes need to be standardized and which are to be ad hoc. You quickly adapt to changes in roles & responsibilities, environments & business needs with grace & ease. You demonstrate a disciplined approach to problem-solving that is based on data & facts.
About the Department
As Project Manager in the AP Module department, you will be part of a team of 15+ experienced Project Directors, Engineering and process managers as well as a few other CAPEX execution Project Managers. You will report to the AP module Owner. You will work closely with 2 of the site-based projects across the globe in ensuring efficient project execution, both in terms of deliverables coming out of the “Central team” based in Lyngby, and also the on-site activities happening at the sites.
You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employs approximately 25,000 of Novo Nordisk’s +70,000 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. We are setting the standards for the future, designing facilities we will still be proud of many decades from now. Fill & Finish Expansions has a global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
