IT Security Consultant

The ideal consultant will have a solid foundation in information security with specialized skills in risk management, application security, threat modeling, operational technology (OT) security, and DevSecOps practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and safety threats.
  2. Implement and oversee application security protocols, including code reviews and testing.
  3. Lead threat modeling sessions to evaluate security risks in applications and infrastructure.
  4. Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle using DevSecOps.
  5. Develop and execute security policies and procedures to bolster the organization's defenses.
  6. Participate in OT security initiatives aimed at protecting critical infrastructures.
  7. Stay updated on emerging security trends and address gaps in security practices.
  8. Deliver training programs focused on security best practices for all employees.

Key Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a similar field.
  2. Demonstrable experience as an IT Security Consultant focused on risk management and application security.
  3. In-depth knowledge of threat modeling methods and frameworks.
  4. Experience with OT security measures and challenges.
  5. Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and associated tools.
  6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  7. Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.

Nice to Have:

  1. Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
  2. Experience with security technologies and tools (e.g., SIEM, DLP, vulnerability scanners).
  3. Knowledge of compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
