Buying Assistant

THE TEAM
As Buying Assistant in NOISY MAY, you will join an ambitious team of skilled and committed colleagues, putting their all into making the best products in the business. We cooperate closely with different functions, including Buyers, Designers, Suppliers, Pattern Designers and Sales, and we appreciate open communication and a positive atmosphere in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

THE JOB
You are highly involved in the development of all our collections, with a particular focus on knit. From the very beginning, you will be trusted with your own responsibilities, such as placing orders, following up with production and making sure we have all samples here in time for collection meetings just to name a few. This includes regular contact both internally with NOISY MAY colleagues and externally with our suppliers, with whom we expect you to establish and develop strong relations.

More specifically, the job involves:

• Participating in the coordination and practicalities related to starting up new collections
• Providing daily support to our suppliers and BESTSELLER's international purchasing offices as well as ensuring a close and effective dialogue with these colleagues
• Commenting and approving fitting in collaboration with the Buyers, Designer, and Pattern Designer
• Carrying out administrative tasks in the department, including following up on deliveries, creating new styles and placing purchase orders in our system.

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• Relevant education in buying
• 1-2 years of relevant experience from the fashion industry
• Good understanding of figures and a strong business acumen
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
