About CoaST and the Project

CoaST is a world-class research center focused on the development, production, and use of high-performance organic coatings. Our mission is to create innovative and sustainable coating solutions. The challenge we face is that we don't precisely know the level of sustainability performance we achieve in our projects. We need to ensure that our research aims are genuinely more environmentally sustainable compared to our current practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop a simple yet effective method to screen new research projects within the field of protective coatings.
  2. Cover all aspects from cradle to grave, allowing us to predict the potential environmental impact of our projects.
