- Provide regulatory oversight for new product launches, ensuring alignment with global regulatory standards and local Danish requirements, including tax compliance, data protection, and anti-money laundering (AML) obligations.
- Partner with Danish authorities and industry associations to stay ahead of emerging regulatory trends and advocate for company interests in the region.
Commercial & Operational Compliance

- Design and enhance scalable compliance procedures tailored to both global and Danish clients, balancing operational efficiency with stringent adherence to local and international regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed on legal and regulatory changes, particularly in Denmark’s rapidly evolving fintech and payments sectors, proactively addressing risks and ensuring the company’s ongoing adherence to both global and local requirements.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with regional compliance teams, product development teams, and other internal stakeholders to manage regulatory risks and ensure seamless integration of regulatory requirements into business processes.
- Act as a key liaison between the VP of Public Policy & Regulatory Affairs, other Regulatory Directors, and external stakeholders, promoting a unified regulatory approach across regions.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with external counsel and regulatory bodies in different jurisdictions, ensuring timely and effective communication.
Technical Regulatory Support & Representation
- Provide technical regulatory guidance to internal teams, with a particular emphasis on Danish compliance frameworks, fostering a global culture of compliance and ethical business practices across all jurisdictions.
- Represent the company in relevant industry associations, regulatory forums, and stakeholder meetings, advocating for the organization’s interests while ensuring alignment with both global and Danish regulatory expectations.
