The team waiting for you
Our new Senior M&A will be based in Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT, M&A Team), reporting to the Vice President of DD&IT, M&A.
For the past year, we have established the Core M&A Team, with the purpose of handling the expected inflow of M&A transactions impacting DD&IT.
While the role will organisationally be based in Strategy & Transformation, it will be presenting all of DD&IT as well as having diverse stakeholders across the Novo Nordisk value chain.
This team will focus on Due Diligence and early Integration (up until Day 1) for Corporate Assets.
Furthermore, the team will focus on continuous improvements in the M&A area.
Strategy & Transformation is a newly established area with ~ employees, mainly based out of Denmark (Ballerup).
The area also consists of departments such as IT-Strategy, Communication, Enterprise Architecture, Business Development as well as a strategic transformation program.

Behind the title
The Senior Manager M&A will lead the team that takes responsibility for all M&A related activities for Corporate Assets.
Your responsibilities will be to:

  1. Lead the team and ensure to constantly improve the way we work.
  2. Actively participate in building up capabilities in the Core M&A team as well as across DD&IT to ensure constant improvement in how we integrate and how we become more efficient.
  3. Communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders globally, and informally make an impact for the better of the team and the ambitious M&A agenda.
  4. Ensure to include other areas of DD&IT when needed in the relevant phases of the transaction.

What we scout for
To succeed in this role, we imagine the ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
  1. Master’s degree in business, IT or another relevant field.
  2. Years of experience in IT, preferably in large complex organisations.
  3. Previous experience in M&A, where you have been part of the whole process.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Team player and can build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders on all levels of an organisation.
  6. Ability to work independently and thrive in a busy and global environment where priorities change, and fast decisions are needed to move on.
