About your future role

We're looking for a Senior Data Protection Specialist to join the Group Privacy Center of Excellence for an exciting group-wide role supporting Group HR in Nexi Group with data protection compliance.

Organizationally, the Group Privacy Center of Excellence is located within Group Compliance. You will be joining a growing team primarily with legal backgrounds. We are responsible for supporting the business, primarily via a network of Privacy Champions, with data protection compliance tasks, as well as developing and driving data protection compliance projects and providing data protection support to other projects.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

Help set the course for data protection compliance within Group HR for all of Nexi Group Providing guidance and supporting HR with compliance tasks Guide, support and facilitate meetings with Privacy Champions throughout HR teams in Nexi Group Develop and conduct training and awareness Support Group HR in carrying out risk assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) activities Support and drive privacy by design Assist Group HR with managing data breaches and ensure necessary documentation Assist Group HR with responding to data subject requests Alignment with local DPOs

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

Legal background (cand.jur., cand.merc.jur. or similar) 5+ years’ experience working with data protection compliance, in particular the GDPR, in an international context ,  either as in-house counsel or at a law firm Expertise in rules on processing of personal data in the employment context Professionally proficient in spoken and written English

Additional skills and experience that would make you stand out:

CIPP/E, CIPM and/or CIPT certifications or similar
