The position and responsibilities

As a Senior Production Finance Partner you will draw on your experience from production, ensuring that our Production sites always comply with our internal guidelines.

Your tasks will consist of:

  1. Providing insights to the line of business and support in planning
  2. Contribute to perform a transparent costing of all our products
  3. Participate in Month End and Year End closing processes and budget periods
  4. Maintaining a high level of compliance and a strong financial framework within SAP
  5. Close collaboration with our colleagues in our Global Business Services department in India
  6. Ensuring House in Order and a high quality in Production Accounting elements and processes.

You will gain insights into the core of the Novo Nordisk's engine room, and you are expected to proactively manage and participate in projects and other initiatives securing the financial transparency & compliance. As a person you demonstrate a structured approach to your work without compromising the quality of your deliverables. You have a natural curiosity of nature and willingness to use this to dive into the issues raised by line of business.

Qualifications

We're looking for a colleague that enjoys not having two days alike in a flexible work environment.

Further:

  1. You hold relevant degree within Finance, Business, Accounting or similar and have a proven track record from experience in a production company
  2. Solid understanding of financial processes and underlying accounting flows
  3. Experience with SAP and accounting knowledge
  4. High proficiency in English – both spoken and written
  5. Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with people at different levels of the organization

About the department
Production Accounting & Compliance is part of Product Supply, Quality & IT Finance (PSQIT) located in Bagsværd, Denmark headquarters – We are an international, diverse, and high-performing department consisting of around 100 people from many different countries. The team currently consist of 10 colleagues that are responsible for ensuring a strong financial foundation in SAP across the Novo Nordisk supply chain, overseeing the production accounting, and maintaining a high level of compliance in our Sarbox control environment.
