YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position, you will contribute to the development of our mission critical communication equipment used by e.g. the electronic warfare sector. You will work collaboratively with a team of experts, engaging in both research and the practical implementation of algorithms. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire process, from designing and developing laboratory systems to analyzing algorithm performance in real-world applications. As you navigate complex challenges, your expertise will play a vital role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge technology at Chora.

You will be in charge of conducting research and development in the field of signal processing for radio signals, focusing on positioning, navigation, and timing.
You will be responsible for designing laboratory systems for signal acquisition and proposing hardware development solutions.
You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing algorithms for detection, acquisition, tracking, and high-level system modeling.
You will be responsible for performing algorithm development and integrating them into real-world systems.
You will contribute to the research and model physical behaviors related to our products.
You will be part of analyzing and documenting algorithmic subsystems, evaluating their performance and functionality.
You will be pivotal in implementing algorithms in C/C++.
You will have a key role in carrying out requirement analysis for algorithmic subsystems and ensuring their performance through simulations and real-world data evaluations.
You will participate in field tests and analyze alternatives to enhance systems performance.

YOUR PROFILE

You have a Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
You have proven experience in setting up and developing laboratory experiments.
You possess strong skills in statistical signal modeling, Bayesian statistics, and Monte Carlo simulations.
You are proficient in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
Preferably, you have a solid understanding of antennas and electromagnetic simulations. Experience in developing radar or radio systems is advantageous.
You have proven experience in high-performance computing (HPC), such as parallel computing, AVX/SSE, GPU, and/or FPGA.
You take ownership of your tasks and responsibilities, just as you thrive on working independently.
You also enjoy working closely with your colleagues within an agile software development environment.

You live within commuting distance of Aarhus, and you speak and write Danish and English fluently. You have a clean criminal record and you are a Danish citizen or you have lived in Denmark for at least the last 7 years
