Experienced in contract negotiation/management with a Strategic Understanding

Based in one of our offices in either Denmark (Copenhagen or Aarhus), Germany (Hamburg) or UK (London), you will support and later drive and lead contract negotiations and/or tender preparation and evaluation on behalf of our clients, with a range of suppliers in the renewables industry. Ideally, you have a solid understanding of the technical, operational, and commercial value levers, in large scale renewable energy projects from across the technology spectrum.

More specifically your responsibilities include:

  1. Support and in time lead contract negotiations with suppliers in the renewable energy sector, including drafting, reviewing, and finalizing agreements.
  2. Prepare and evaluate tenders, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
  3. Conduct thorough risk assessments of contractual terms and conditions to safeguard client interests.
  4. Collaborate with technical, operational, and financial teams to ensure comprehensive understanding of project requirements.
  5. Facilitate decision-making processes by translating complex issues into clear, actionable recommendations.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior decision-makers, to support project objectives.
  7. Monitor and manage contract performance, addressing any issues or disputes that arise during the project lifecycle.

We are looking for a profile that thrives in taking on commercial challenges with a pragmatic and resolute mindset in finding solutions to achieve the best outcomes. Ideally having proven experience in managing or supporting the procurement/negotiation of offshore or onshore wind O&M agreements (including Operator and WTG Service Agreements) and/or asset management agreements is a minimum requirement for this position.

In addition to your contract negotiation and management skills, at PEAK Wind we pride ourselves on helping our clients develop the right contracting strategies that are conducive to their long-term investment interests. It is therefore essential that you are focused on developing a strategic understanding of the renewables business and the ability to turn complex issues into simple and easily understandable messages to facilitate the decision-making processes. The position will require engagement with Senior decision-makers in renewable energy projects.
