VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S leverer og servicerer sikkerheds- og brandslukningsudstyr til passager- og fragtskibe, offshore installationer, fiskeriet, søværnet, helikopteroperatører, brandvæsnet og fritidssejlere.

Som den nye R&D and Engineering Director får du ansvaret for områderne Immersion Suit & Lifejacket, som indbefatter redningsveste og redningsdragter til det maritime område samt personaleansvar for et team på 12 dygtige specialister med høj anciennitet.

Du bliver ansvarlig for Product Development og Engineering (klargøring til produktion), mens det produktionsmæssige ansvar ligger i virksomhedens eksisterende produktions-setup. I samarbejde med produktionsafdelingerne medvirker du i rollen til at udvikle og forenkle konstruktioner og produktionsmetoder og ligeledes til at rationalisere og effektivisere produktion og arbejdsgange generelt.

Dine ansvarsområder og arbejdsopgaver:
  • Design, udvikling, konstruktion og produktionsgrundlag vedrørende redningsveste og -dragter
  • Udvikling og ajourføring af ERP, produktionsprocesruter, arbejdsinstruktioner, servicemanualer m.m.
  • Sikre udarbejdelse af projektplaner og skabe det nødvendige overblik over igangværende opgaver
  • Sikre test og godkendelse af produkter iht. påkrævede standarder
  • Udarbejdelse af produktdokumentation og styklister til anvendelse i forbindelse med tilbud
  • Budgetansvarlig for eget område og økonomisk disponering inden for de fastlagte budgetrammer
  • Medvirke til udarbejdelse og implementering af strategier for afdelingen
  • Sikre udvikling og uddannelse af personale samt ansætte, afskedige og rokere efter behov
  • Overordnet ansvar for luftfartsgodkendelserne for produkter, Produktion og vedligehold

Din base bliver på hovedkontoret i Esbjerg, men for dig, som ikke bor i området, er virksomheden indstillet på 1-2 ugentlige hjemmearbejdsdage. Der vil også være rejseaktivitet i jobbet, og du kan se frem til ca. 10-25 årlige rejsedage til Europæiske messer samt besøg ved kunder eller produktionsfaciliteter i bl.a. Thailand.

Engageret leder med høj faglighed omkring tekstiler

Vi er på udkig efter en selvstændig, beslutningsdygtig og motiverende People Manager, der kommer med en solid forretningsforståelse og en teknisk uddannelse inden for tekstil. Det kunne være en uddannelse som Teknisk ingeniør, Designteknolog, Teknisk Designer, Tekstilingeniør, Pattern Designer eller lignende.

Din viden og interesse for tekstiler og materialer er således stor. Herudover sætter du en ære i at holde dig opdateret omkring trends og tendenser samt regulativer for dit kommende arbejdsområde.

Du har erfaring fra en virksomhed, hvor funktionelle tekstiler har været omdrejningsområdet – gerne beklædning, men det vigtigste er, at du er stærk på materialer, og at du er vant til at stå i spidsen for produktudvikling og konstruktion.

Sprogligt er du skarp på både dansk og engelsk, og du er godt med, når det gælder diverse IT-systemer – virksomheden anvender SAP, Microsoft Office og ServiceNow.

Vigtigst af alt er, at du som leder er vant til at gå forrest, formår at få teamet med dig og er i stand til at styrke det tværorganisatoriske fællesskab. Det vil være en fordel, at du har erfaring med ledelse af specialister.
