About Us: DFM is a national metrology institute dedicated to advancing precision, accuracy, and innovation in measurement science. As the host of Quantum Denmark, a flagship national initiative, we play a crucial role in shaping Denmark's position as a leader in the global quantum landscape.

About Positions: We are seeking motivated candidates for Scientist/Senior Scientist positions in our Quantum Materials (QMAT) team. These full-time permanent positions offer the opportunity to engage in groundbreaking research and development of quantum materials and devices.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. We are looking for individuals with hands-on experience in III-V or Si-Ge growths using molecular beam epitaxy and cleanroom device fabrication.
  2. The selected candidate will operate and maintain high-vacuum equipment and technologies.
  3. Expertise in advanced material characterization using tools such as scanning probe/electron microscopy, EDX, optical microscopy, and TEM is also required.
  4. For senior roles, project management, grant applications, and project leadership are expected.

Requirements: A PhD in Physics, Quantum Technology, Material Science, or a relevant Engineering field is mandatory. Preferably with postdoctoral experience. For senior positions, proven academic experience or industrial track record is required.
