We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join our team at Onomondo. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our cloud-native platform, ensuring its scalability, availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Transforming our Telecom infrastructure to cloud native
  2. Automating deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our platform and services
  3. Enabling individual teams to be autonomous while following best practices

  6. Participating in our compensated on-call rotations to ensure prompt response to system incidents and outages

About Onomondo

Onomondo is a Copenhagen-based scale-up that provides a cloud-native connectivity platform for the IoT industry. Our mission is to simplify and accelerate IoT adoption by providing businesses with the tools and services they need to connect and manage their IoT devices more securely and at scale.

Requirements

  1. 3+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer (or a similar role)
  2. Experience with cloud providers, preferably AWS
  3. Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
  4. Experience in building and maintaining scalable, highly available, and secure cloud-native platforms/services
  5. Proficiency in scripting and automation languages such as Bash, Go, and Python
  6. Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies, such as Kubernetes
  7. Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools, such as GitHub Actions or ArgoCD
  8. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus and Grafana
  9. Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
  10. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  11. Strong communication and collaboration skills

Complementary Skills

  1. Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  2. Previous experience in telecom concepts
  3. A strong Kubernetes tooling knowledge, for example Helm, creation of CRDs, etc.
  4. Experience building Kubernetes Operators
