About the Role

As Director of Platform Engineering, you'll lead our team of engineers responsible for building and scaling our technology platform. Your expertise will drive the development of a highly scalable and maintainable platform, ensuring seamless experiences for our developers and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a modern cloud infrastructure architecture at scale
  • Lead the development of a robust technology platform, prioritizing scalability, maintainability, and security
  • Hire and motivate high-level engineers, fostering a positive team spirit
  • Drive technical alignment and good engineering practices within our engineering department
  • Manage FTE and cost budget across the group, ensuring efficient resource allocation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business continuity, security, and on-call initiatives
Requirements
  • Deep experience with cloud infrastructure and architecture at scale
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing modern platforms
  • Solid engineering background, with both educational and hands-on experience
  • Extensive leadership experience as a director or higher, with a strong focus on engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Comprehensive verbal and written English communication skills
