Quantitative Researcher Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated Quantitative Researcher Intern to join our team at UniUni ApS. As an intern, you will work closely with our seasoned traders to develop and refine quantitative models that drive our trading strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the development and implementation of statistically significant predictive signals.
- Conduct backtesting of trading strategies to evaluate their performance and robustness.
- Work with vendor datasets to access/clean and create new features.
- Collaborate with team members to improve existing models and develop new ones.
- Stay updated on the latest research and developments in quantitative finance and macroeconomics.
- Currently pursuing a degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance.
- Strong programming skills in Python and associated modules such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and Statsmodels.
- A solid understanding of OLS and Linear Algebra is required. Regularization techniques are a plus.
- A solid understanding of optimizers is a plus.
- Experience in SQL is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial markets and macroeconomic concepts is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and results.
