About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Firmware Engineer to join our team at Universal Robots. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge firmware for our collaborative robots.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop future products for the market, improving our current products for production, quality, and cost.
  • Design complex large-scale architectures and use and improve our processes and procedures.
  • Use and develop tools in relation to development and design verification.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to solve major challenges and deliver great products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robot Systems or Electronics Engineering.
  • Strong fundamental knowledge within Robot Engineering.
  • Strong skills in microcontroller programming.
  • 5+ years of professional work experience with writing production-ready code.
  • Experience with motor control, functional safety/safety-rated software, real-time systems, and FPGA.
  • Experience with agile development (e.g., work in Scrum teams).
