Join our team at Lundbeck A/S, H, where we are dedicated to transforming lives by developing innovative medicines for brain disorders. We are seeking a Research Expert in Pharmacokinetics and Toxicology to join our Department of Drug Metabolism.
In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating the drug-drug interaction (DDI) risk of Lundbeck development compounds. This involves close collaboration with colleagues in Clinical Pharmacology and managing studies such as enzyme reaction phenotyping, enzyme inhibition, enzyme induction, and mechanistic studies.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in biochemistry, pharmacy, or chemical engineering and experience within enzymology of major drug metabolizing enzymes, inhibition kinetics, and design of in vitro DDI studies. You will also have hands-on experience with in vitro DDI assays, LC-MS, and PBPK modeling and simulations. Additionally, you should have experience with DDI guidelines and preparation of regulatory summary documents.
