Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Veterinarian Research Scientist to join our team at the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in companion animal surgery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research: Conduct original research in companion animal surgery, focusing on areas such as surgical techniques, biomarkers, and post-surgical outcomes.
  • Teaching: Teach and mentor students in undergraduate and graduate programs, with a focus on companion animal surgery.
  • Service: Participate in departmental and university service activities, including committee work and professional development.

Requirements

  • Education: DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in veterinary research or practice.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position will be approximately $83,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The University of Copenhagen offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
