About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Content and SEO to join our team at Driversnote. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that drives user engagement and acquisition through search engine optimization (SEO).

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Production: Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with our business goals and resonates with our target audience. This includes creating high-quality, engaging, and informative content that showcases our expertise and thought leadership in the industry.
  • Content Distribution: Identify and leverage opportunities to amplify our content reach and visibility through various channels, including social media, email newsletters, and partnerships. Develop and execute a plan to improve our visibility for low-funnel searches and increase our presence on larger sites, reviews, and mentions.
  • Technical SEO and Website Improvements: Conduct regular site diagnostics and maintain a prioritized pipeline of initiatives to improve our website's technical foundation and user experience. Collaborate with our web development and design teams to implement improvements and ensure seamless execution.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in SEO, with a focus on content marketing.
  • Proven track record of leading or participating in successful content initiatives, including content idea generation, writing, and outsourcing.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach, with experience working with keyword and conversion data.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to write clearly and effectively.
  • Familiarity with standard SEO tools, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and rank tracking and keyword research tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing a network of content writers and editors.
  • Project management experience, including leading small-scale projects.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Looker or Datastudio.
  • Experience with localizing and translating content.
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics, including MRR, CAC, CLV, and churn.
