Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Additive Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at LEGO Koncernen in Billund, Denmark. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge additive manufacturing technologies and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for large-scale production.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in CAD skills, preferably with experience in Siemens NX software. Additionally, they should possess excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and understand data related to additive manufacturing processes.

In this role, you will collaborate with customers and designers to improve part printability and cleanability, actively identify new applications with existing and new customers, facilitate continuous development of Design for AM capabilities, support equipment development, and ensure efficient workflows and processes within the team.

You will be based in our office in Billund, working closely with colleagues and internal customers to ensure delivery of selected equipment within the right quality, requirements, and lead-time. We work across three different technologies, divided between polymer and metal, pushing the limits of efficiency in our supply chain and driving the AM industry towards true large-scale manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers/designers to improve part printability and cleanability
  • Actively identify new applications with existing and new customers
  • Facilitate continuous development of Design for AM capabilities
  • Support equipment development
  • Ensure efficient workflows and processes within the team
Requirements
  • Strong CAD skills (Siemens NX an advantage)
  • Analytical skills in analyzing and understanding data
  • Experience with Build Preparation Software such as Materialise Magics
  • Knowledge in metal and/or polymer AM technologies
  • Proficiency in English both verbally and written
