Job Description

  • Promote a safety culture using human performance principles and operational learning.
  • Ensure compliance with regional and local HSE regulations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a geographically dispersed HSE team.
  • Track and analyze hazards and incidents to promote continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of HSE strategies, including environmental initiatives.
  • Manage ISO standard certifications, audits, and HSE-related training programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associates degree with a minimum of five to eight years' work experience in General Industry, Industrial, or Construction environmental, health, and safety preferred.
  • Certification (CSP/ASP/CRSP/GSP) preferred.
  • Experience in applying international HSE standards (ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001) across business units and geographies.
  • Experience with cranes, lifting and rigging, working at heights, safety management systems, control of hazardous energy, confined space requirements, work at heights, and soft tissue injury prevention.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and basic skills in SAP.
  • Fluent in English.

  • Solid collaboration skills across all organizational levels, from frontline workforce to executive leadership.
  • Expertise in mentoring and coaching, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in interpreting regulations and company policies, and in developing regional HSE campaigns that promote ownership.
  • Effective in influencing and collaborating with executive leadership.
  • Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced technical and presentation writing capabilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a remote environment with flexible hours.

What We Offer

You will become part of a highly professional environment with a proven technical commitment. Primary work location: Aarhus, Hamburg, or Warrington. Expected travel: approximately 60 travel days per year.
