BESTSELLER's International Business Trainee Programme in Retail Management is an ideal opportunity for ambitious graduates from around the world. This two-year programme allows you to explore the core business areas of an international fashion company and gain valuable working experience in one of eight specialist fields at our headquarters in Denmark or potentially at one of our global offices.
Retail Management is a diverse specialist field offering you exciting learnings and experiences from different aspects of our retail business. You will work across key areas such as retail expansion, store performance analysis, operational processes, and data-driven decision-making. As an IBT in Retail Management, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the growth and optimization of BESTSELLER's stores, developing skills in communication, planning, and problem-solving.
We strive to provide a comprehensive picture of retail in BESTSELLER during your two-year tenure. Depending on your strengths and interests, your role can take two different directions:
- In Retail Data Science, you will drive retail performance through advanced analytics. Your tasks include developing tools for retail planning, demand forecasting, and sales analysis, while working with machine learning and AI to optimize pricing and markdown processes.
- In Retail Operations, you will play a vital role in supporting retail expansion and operations across both full-price and outlet stores. You will work closely with the Retail team at headquarters, contributing to strategic planning and hands-on execution. Your responsibilities will include monitoring expansion processes, coordinating with markets to meet deadlines, and analysing store performance.
To be successful in this role, you are expected to be a communicative and structured individual with a passion for retail operations. You must thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy collaborating with stakeholders across teams and borders to achieve common goals. Additionally, you should be able to spot potential ways of optimising our processes or stores and take action accordingly.
You should possess a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university or business school. Working experience within retail is an advantage, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office. Any experience with data tools like Power BI, SQL, or Python is a plus. Fluency in English is mandatory, both spoken and written.
