Job Title: Bid Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to join our growing XENTA Bid team at Weibel Scientific A/S. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing proposals from commencement to contract award, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining sales and product data.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing proposals, including coordinating with Sales Directors, System Engineers, and Market Management.
  • Responsible for supporting Sales in responding to RFIs and Market Surveys.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain the Surveillance Documentation Structure in accordance with Sales Governance Processes.
  • Maintain sales and product data by coordinating and collecting information across the organization.
  • Responsible for documentation management and control for proposals during and up to contract award.
  • Support Sales and Bid Team in finalizing Bid packages for submission.
  • Assist in making annual Surveillance Sales Analytics.
  • Embed a strong sense of delivery accountability and proactive risk and opportunity management culture.
  • Assist the Bid Team in collating and creating internal material/presentations needed for Bid Approval Boards.
  • Play an instrumental role in maintaining and updating all Surveillance Sales' documentation for Sales and Bid Management in accordance with ISO9001.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience from a sales support function of technically advanced solutions to the defense industry.
  • Experience with radars and surveillance systems is an advantage.
  • Relevant educational background within engineering and/or business.
  • Proven track record in Bid Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global, and complex environment.
  • Experience and/or strong interest in complex sales processes, preferably from a high-tech industry.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage many immediate requests.
  • Strong team player.
  • English at negotiation level is a must (spoken and written).
