We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled QHSE professional to join our team at European Energy A/S. As a Director, QHSE to Renewable Energy Projects, you will be responsible for leading our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) initiatives across our wind and solar farms globally.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the QHSE team and ensure that team members are thriving and receiving the necessary support.
- Implement new processes and systems to improve QHSE performance and develop a long-term quality assurance strategy for the company.
- Represent the company in customer interactions and ensure understanding of expectations.
- Take ownership of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental activities and establish and oversee Quality Management Systems on a global basis.
- Inspire a positive HSE culture and provide comprehensive reporting to management.
- Support key stakeholders in project activities and ensure legislation adherence.
- Develop robust Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
- Prevent non-conformances, customer complaints, and rework by implementing corrective actions.
- Extensive experience in leading (Q)HSE initiatives and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a matrix organisation with a flexible approach to work and easily adapting to changing priorities.
- Relevant educational background, e.g. within Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or similar.
- Experience from a similar role, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Hold a NEBOSH diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to identify, implement, and manage new and existing quality tools.
- Qualified lead auditor with a strong understanding of ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, and ISO45001:2018.
- Willingness to participate in training and professional development to continuously enhance QHSE expertise.
