Job Summary

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Marine Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Marine Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating negotiations for offshore wind projects in the NCE region, primarily for SOVs and CTVs, but potentially also for installation vessels and service jack-up vessels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the procurement strategy for offshore operations logistics assets in line with the overall Vestas strategy and the specific sub-strategies for each asset category
  • Lead and coordinate negotiations for offshore wind projects in the NCE region, primarily for SOVs and CTVs, but potentially also for installation vessels and service jack-up vessels
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier quality levels and reduce costs
  • Manage contracting process to ensure that Vestas interests are adequately represented
  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders to develop go-to-market strategies and evaluate and select suppliers

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with negotiating marine contracts, such as Bimco Supplytime and ASVTIME charter parties in the wind and/or oil & gas industry
  • Familiarity with the FIDIC and/or LOGIC contractual framework is preferred
  • A commercial and/or contractual background, preferably combined with a high level of operational knowledge of the offshore industry
  • Experience from working with large scale offshore projects
  • Experience from working in or with large, global organisations
