Experimentalist for Resource-Efficient Photonic Circuits

The position is focused on developing TFLN and TFLT photonic integrated circuit platforms for classical and quantum information processing. Our approach involves cavity-based components with electrically controllable cavity-waveguide couplings that surpass the time-bandwidth limit of static cavities.
You will work closely with our collaborators at Harvard University, who pioneered low-loss TFLN photonics and recently demonstrated TFLT as a promising alternative to TFLN with improved DC voltage stability. You will have the opportunity to visit Harvard University to fabricate TFLT devices.
Our long-term goal is to develop a general-purpose PIC platform, so we welcome applicants interested in sensors, optical communications, AI hardware accelerators, or quantum information science. You will have access to our vibrant and highly collaborative scientific environment at DTU Electro.
We seek a talented physicist with an outstanding drive and excellent scientific achievements. The required qualifications include practical experience with fabrication of optical nano- and micro-structures and optical characterization of photonic devices.
