Game Lead Role Overview

We are currently growing our game teams at Tactile, a leading gaming company based in Copenhagen. As a Game Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of game development, from conceptualization to launch and live operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute the game's roadmap, vision, and strategy, aligning with the company's goals and market trends.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including live ops, product, level design, art, and programming to achieve project milestones and KPIs.

Product Management and Live Ops:

Continuously analyze game data to optimize performance, player retention, and monetization strategies.

Game Development Oversight:

Work closely with the production team to ensure the game's development is on schedule and meets the highest quality standards.

Market Analysis:

Stay on top of industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities. Leverage insights to inform the product roadmap and live operations strategy.

Team Development:

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team. Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative work environment that attracts and retains top talent.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in leading a game project of larger scale and managing a cross-functional game team.
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player behavior and market trends in the mobile gaming space.
  • A deep knowledge of free-to-play mobile casual games.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in using data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to inspire the team, be the driver of change and clearly communicate your vision.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing talent, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Experience in collaborating with marketing teams to grow or launch games.
