The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is seeking a Professor of Quantitative Environmental Sustainability to join its Department of Environmental and Resource Engineering. As a professor, you will be responsible for leading and teaching a course with large numbers of involved teachers and students, as well as supervising students in their bachelor and master thesis projects.

You will be expected to conduct excellent research to develop and maintain your core research field within the above-mentioned research areas at the highest international level. This includes building collaborations on developing technologies for sustainable transition with researchers within and outside DTU, and with private and public sector stakeholders.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to integrate data and methods from various scientific disciplines to create innovative solutions for sustainability challenges. You should have strong expertise in one or several of the research topics listed above, drawing on competences within several of the fields of sustainability science, systems science, data integration, technology assessment, and environmental engineering.
