We are currently seeking an experienced International Tax Specialist to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. This exciting opportunity will enable you to utilize your skills and expertise to ensure compliance with diverse tax regulations, mitigate risks associated with international operations, and stay informed of regulatory changes.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing global tax matters, ensuring compliance with complex tax laws and regulations, and providing expert advice on transfer pricing, project management, and financial reporting.

This role will involve:

  • Global Tax Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating tax risks associated with vessel operations
  • Transfer Pricing Expertise: Analyzing intercompany transfer pricing and ensuring compliance across jurisdictions
  • Project and Stakeholder Management: Coordinating with third-party advisors and managing project tracking
  • Tax Compliance: Coordinating global income tax submissions and managing indirect tax cycles
  • Financial Reporting: Calculating and summarizing tax provisions for quarterly and annual reports
  • SOX Compliance: Preparing and maintaining internal SOX tax controls
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Staying up-to-date with global tax regulatory changes and their impact on the business
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an international finance or tax environment
  • A higher tax or accounting qualification (preferably but not essential)
  • Experience working with international tax systems, particularly in the UK, EU, and Asia
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
